Dwolla to Present at AMA Iowa June Luncheon

by cgooding on May 31, 2012

Dwolla: you’ve heard a lot about them. So what exactly do they do and  who are they? You can find out at the next AMA Iowa luncheon, Wednesday, June 6.

Jordan Lampe, chief communications builder for Des Moines-based Dwolla — the online payment network that says it offers a cheaper, safer and overall better payment experience —will discuss the role ignorance has played in tackling the challenges, opportunities and long-term strategies of Dwolla.

His presentation will also outline Dwolla’s marketing strategies, as well as give a behind-the-scenes look at the company. Key takeaways include: Why having a culture that promotes failure is so important; why, if you’re not involved in the product, you’re doing it wrong; and the importance of scaling your message.

In addition, Silicon Prairie News (SPN) will give away two free passes to this meeting.  Simply leave a comment on their blog post, and you’re entered!

For a sure-thing ticket, register here by Monday, June 4 at noon.
